How often do you find yourself saying `I wish I knew how to make money on the Internet`
Released on = June 5, 2006, 11:58 am
Press Release Author = Horizon Direct Services Ltd
Industry = Internet & Online
Press Release Summary = Too many people think that all they have to do is buy a web site, and they will make money. A web site is like any other business - it needs, time, expertise, as well as money, spent on it to market it properly and attract traffic. The Brit Group have been set up to help \'newbies\', especially from the UK, get out of this syndrome and explode the myths surrounding what is still considered a US dominated industry .
Press Release Body = To many people, making money on the internet remains but a dream that can usually take two forms. Either all they do is spend money on more and more \'solutions\' that swamp their email inboxes promising fantastic returns in exchange for a few more dollars..or alternatively, they do nothing at all.
And of course, nearly all of these offers seem to come from the States, so private tuition to explain these offers often comes at a prohibitive price, or is just simply too scary to contemplate - we are after all, much more reserved and even shy, in the UK. We often do not have the confidence of our US brethren.
That is - of course - until now.
Four like-minded people in the UK, after spending an absolute fortune on internet coaching, training, and cupboards full of redundant products, formed an organisation called the Brit Group () initially to support a hundred or so UK people who had bought products from Stephen Pierce, a world renowned internet marketer based in Michigan, and incidentally one of the \'good guys\' of internet marketing.
Originally the concept of the four (Roger Bourdon, Debbie Boffa, Geoff Morris and Jane Morris) was just to help Stephen\'s UK-based customers develop their specialist \'niche\' web-based products, (Stephen\'s excellent \'Business in a Briefcase\' niche marketing solutions) but after the Brit Group team networked at a number of other internet marketing events in London over the last weeks, many more \'newbie\'s\' have signed up to their newsletters and tips. Also, Brett McFall (another leading Internet marketer and real friendly \'good guy\') interviewed two of the team last week (Geoff and Jane Morris - based in St Neots, UK) for this June\'s London-based World Internet Summit, and this has resulted in a flurry of new interest in the Brit Group.
In competition with the \'Monsters of Rock\' pop concert at the Milton Keynes Bowl last weekend, The Brit Group held their first all-day event about 1,000 yards away from the Bowl at a superb location called \'The Energy Room\' ( ). When newbie\'s and more experienced internet marketers can get together, and enjoy internet techniques being explained in a British accent, with no great sales hype at the end of it, that\'s both progress and comfort for us Brits. The event was a great success, with many of the delegates requesting further gatherings. The event may even have beat the \'Monsters\' next door if the feedback is anything to go by!
The Brit Group will be staging a whole series of similar events over the coming months, on internet marketing techniques, at a much lower cost than the big Gurus charge. We\'ll be aiming to de-jargonise and simplify the process of marketing on the internet and providing a comfortable and friendly forum where there is no such thing as a stupid question! We even invite delegates to tell us what subjects they want to cover so these events really are for you and everybody is welcome - wherever you come from!
Anybody who is aspiring to gain financial freedom by using internet marketing techniques would be welcome to attend any of these sessions, and can sign up to The Brit Group newsletter on http:/www.thebritgroup.com
